Bill 207 was created with a simple goal:
To strengthen how Alberta’s primary industries are reflected in our education system.
Those industries are:
Energy. Agriculture. Forestry. Construction.
These are the industries that build our roads, power our homes, feed our families, create our jobs, support our communities, and drive Alberta’s economy.
Now that Bill 207 has passed, the next step is making sure the people who know these industries have a voice in the conversation.
That is where you come in.
Too many young Albertans graduate without fully understanding the industries that built this province, or the opportunities those industries provide.
They may hear about energy, agriculture, forestry, and construction in headlines, but not always in a way that reflects the real work, innovation, skill, opportunity, and pride behind them.
This is an opportunity for businesses, workers, industry partners, organizations, educators, parents, students, and Albertans across the province to provide early input into future curriculum conversations.
Your feedback can help identify what students should better understand about Alberta’s primary industries.

We want to hear from people who know these industries best.
Your feedback can help identify:
What students should understand about your industry.
The careers and pathways students should be aware of.
The skills that matter in today’s workforce.
The opportunities available across Alberta.
The role your industry plays in building Alberta’s future.
The gaps you see in how these industries are currently understood.
This input is non-binding and does not represent a final government curriculum decision. It is an opportunity to gather ideas, perspectives, and recommendations from Albertans as future curriculum conversations move forward.
This takes just a few minutes.
Alberta students should understand the industries that built this province and the careers that can help build their future.
Energy. Agriculture. Forestry. Construction.
These industries matter.
Your voice matters.
Help shape the conversation around what students learn about Alberta’s primary industries.
Your input can help build what comes next.
